St. Louis earned a 3-0 shutout victory over Real Monarchs last Sunday at Energizer Park. Zach Zengue scored his first goal for the club in the 51st minute, followed by goals from Miguel Perez and Riley Lynch, helping CITY2 earn their sixth clean sheet of the season and first regulation win since May 30. St. Louis maintained their perfect 7-0-0 all-time record against the Monarchs, outscoring them 20-2. At Energizer Park this season, CITY2 is 5-3-3.
During the match, Zengue also picked up his third assist of the season, bringing his total goal contributions to four (one goal, three assists). Perez scored his first goal of the 2026 season, while Lynch registered his fourth goal of the season. Palmer Ault earned two assists on the night, bringing his season total to seven assists.
CITY2 and Rapids 2 have faced each other twice this season, with both matches ending in draws before St. Louis prevailed in the penalty shootouts. Ault has scored twice in the season series, and Evan Carlock has also found the back of the net.
