Match Report | St. Louis CITY SC Comes Up Short in 3-2 Loss Against Real Salt Lake

St. Louis CITY SC fell 3-2 to Real Salt Lake in a nail-biting match on Saturday night at America First Field. RSL quickly scored their first goal in the sixth minute and added another just before halftime. St. Louis got on the board in the 51st minute with a header from João Klauss but RSL responded with a third goal in the 64th minute. CITY SC pulled within one as Josh Yaro scored his second career MLS goal to make it 3-2. Despite a strong push, St. Louis was unable to find the equalizer in the final minutes. St. Louis CITY SC returns home to Energizer Park as they face Portland Timbers on Sunday, July 13 at 6:00 p.m. CT on Sunday Night Soccer presented by Apple TV.
