St. Louis CITY SC came from behind to earn a 3-3 draw against LA Galaxy on Saturday afternoon at Energizer Park, making the team unbeaten over its last three home contests. João Klauss opened the scoring in what ended as a historic performance for the forward. The Galaxy equalized shortly before halftime, but Klauss put St. Louis ahead once again through a rocketed strike in the 47th minute. Los Angeles responded with two goals of their own and seemed poised to leave with the win, but Roman Bürki and Timo Baumgartl connected in second half stoppage time to set up Klauss in the box, whose perfectly-placed goal notched the first-ever hat-trick in team history and earned CITY SC points in the match. The team will now have a short break before returning to action on June 25, hosting Orlando City SC at 7:30 p.m. at Energizer Park.
