St. Louis CITY SC were defeated 1-0 by the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. CITY SC and the Rapids played through eight minutes of the first half before the match entered a weather delay. After the weather delay, play was back and forth, but Colorado struck first before halftime with a goal from Darren Yapi. The Rapids held their 1-0 lead through the remainder of the match and picked up the win. St. Louis CITY SC will close out the month of May at Energizer Park as they face San Jose Earthquakes for the first time this season on Saturday, May 31 at 1:30 p.m. CT.
