DENVER, CO - St Louis CITY2 earned a 3-2 comeback win against Colorado Rapids 2 on Sunday night, scoring three goals in the final eleven minutes of the match. Colorado got on the scoresheet with a goal in the 21st minute and added a second in first half stoppage time, giving them a 2-0 lead at halftime. St Louis knocked on the door throughout the second half, registering six shots on target compared to zero for Rapids 2. Ryan Dugan started the comeback, scoring his first professional goal in the 86th minute. Emil Jääskeläinen then notched the tying goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Captain Gabriel Mikina scored the game winning goal in the 97th minute to seal all three points for CITY2.

St Louis extended their win streak to four matches and maintained sole possession of second place in MLS NEXT Pro’s Western Conference standings. St Louis CITY2 returns to Energizer Park to face The Town FC on Sunday, June 22 at 6:00 p.m. CT.
