St. Louis CITY SC Acquires U.S. Youth International Goalkeeper Zack Campagnolo on Loan From Colorado Rapids

St. Louis CITY SC has acquired 19-year-old goalkeeper Zack Campagnolo on loan from Colorado Rapids through the remainder of the 2026 MLS season in exchange for an international roster spot that expires at the end of 2027. Campagnolo will be an Off-Roster Homegrown and St. Louis also holds the option to acquire Campagnolo permanently at the end of the loan. 

"Zack is a promising young goalkeeper who has already gained valuable experience in MLS NEXT Pro and at the youth international level,” said Sporting Director Corey Wray. “We’re pleased to welcome him to St. Louis and look forward to supporting his continued growth within our environment with Alex Langer and his staff.” 

Campagnolo signed with Colorado Rapids 2 for the 2025 and 2026 MLS NEXT Pro seasons, before joining the first team as a Homegrown player. Since then, Campagnolo has accumulated 36 appearances in MLS NEXT Pro.  

The Fort Myers native has represented the U.S. at various age groups including the U-15, U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19, and U-20 levels. Campagnolo’s youth national team career has been highlighted by being named to the United States roster for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup. In June, Campagnolo was called into the U.S. U-20 MNT roster for their matches against Macedonia and Georgia, starting against Macedonia and earning a 2-0 shutout win. 

TRANSACTION: St. Louis CITY SC has acquired Zack Campagnolo on loan from Colorado Rapids through the remainder of the 2026 MLS season in exchange for an international roster spot that expires at the end of 2027. Campagnolo will occupy an Off-Roster Homegrown spot with St. Louis holding the option to acquire Campagnolo permanently at the end of the loan.
